SPLEND-90A

SPLEND-90A is a fire protection system of air ducts with fire-resistance rating EI90 (Fire Safety Certificate № SSPB.RU.OP034.V.00244 on 11.12.2008)

 

A comprehensive fire protection system SPLEND -90A includes:

  1. High adhesive compound of NATRSIL-541 (TU 2316-012-29346883-2007), which is the composition of the inorganic binder and mineral fillers.
  2. Insulating Foil nonwoven foil ISOLIR 1000 (TU 6-48-135-97).
  3. Insulating Foil nonwoven foil ISOLIR 1000F (TU 5763-055-00204961-00), 5 mm thickness.

Design of the cover (the design of the system consists of 4 layers):


1 layer - NATRSIL-C 541, dry film thickness 1 mm, flow rate 2.2 kg / m 2.
2 layer - ISOLIR-1000, 5 mm thickness.
3 layer - NATRSIL C-541, dry film thickness 0.6 mm, flow rate 1.3 kg / m 2.
4 layer - ISOLIR-1000F, 5 mm thickness.

 

Installation of fire-retardant coating (performed by TI 016-2008):

  1. Prepare the surface of the duct: clean, dedust, degrease and dry.
  2. Thoroughly mix of NATRSIL-541 by any manual machine tool until smooth.
  3. Apply NATRSIL-541 to the prepared surface of the duct, using plastering machine such as SO-150, spatula or brush.
  4. Paste on the wet layer the thermal insulating foil ISOLIR 1000 foil (cut to size of duct) with surface outward. Edge of the material assembled lapped a minimum width of 100 mm with the application of NATRSIL-541 between the layers. Cloth is tightly pressed down and rolled with a rubber roller.
  5. After solidification of the composition with a glued canvas ISOLIR 1000, causing a second layer of NATRSIL-C 541 and stick a cut leaf ISOLIR 1000F with foiled adhesive side out. Edge of the material assembled lapped a minimum width of 100 mm. Cloth tightly pressed down and roll with a roller. If necessary, the seams are glued with aluminum tape.

 

Finishing SPLEND-90A on the flange connection of duct performs according to scheme, overlap blades not less than 100 mm.
When installing the fire-retardant coating on ducts close to walls, ceilings and other barriers it is allowed to fill the gap between the duct and wall by blanket ISOLIR 1000F or materials based on basalt fiber (wool, felt, mats, plates), then glue on the top ISOLIR 1000F to give the design aesthetic appearance.

Packing:
Composition NATRSIL-541 comes in plastic packaging capacity of 20 kg.
Nonwoven ISOLIR 1000 and  ISOLIR 1000F come packed in polythene rolls 26X1,17 m.
