Fire-retardant paint for metal VUP-2 |
|
Dedication: VUP-2 is a water-based fire-retardant paint, designed to improve the fire resistance of steel structures up to 90 minutes.
Scope: The paint is used for fire protection of steel structures, operated within the residential, public and industrial premises, inside or outdoors under a canopy. Coatings based on paint VUP-2 can be used in production areas of controlled access zones of nuclear power plants, which regularly works on decontamination, with applying a protective layer of decontaminated enamel EPOKOR 501B or the paint EPOKOR 502 Specifications: | Mass fraction of solids,% | 72-76 | | Density, g / cm2, not less | 1,28 | | Color | white, can be colored in pastel colors according to color charts RAL, NCS, “Moscow Palette", etc. | | | | | Look of surface | Matt | | Warranty period of storage at a temperature of 1 0 C to 40 0 C | 12 months from the date of manufacture | | Coating life indoors | at least 25 years | Application conditions: An application of the paint VUP-2 on the prepared surface is being performed by mechanized painting units of high pressure or hand brush.
An application of paint VUP-2 should be carried out at ambient temperature no lower than minus 2 ? C and relative humidity not above 80%.
Operating conditions: Coatings based on paint VUP-2 are allowed to operate in temperatures from minus 60 ? C to plus 60 ? C and a relative humidity not above 85%.
To obtain the protective and decorative properties of fire-resistant coating, and when coating is operated in high humidity conditions, it is possible to apply finishing layer coatings: perchlorovinyl, copolymer of vinyl chloride; materials based on chlorosulfonated polyethylene, acrylic-based dispersions (paints "ALBENTA-171) with a thickness of 40-60 microns or pentaphthalic, epoxy, polyurethane, with a thickness of 30-50 microns.
Environmental Protection: Paint VUP-2 is a water-based, environmentally friendly product. |
