Dedication:
VUP-2K is a water-based fire-retardant paint intended to reduce the fire hazard of power cable lines.
Scope:
The paint is applied to reduce the fire danger of power lines surfaces, of stationary control cables, communication cables, laid in cable structures, as well as in building constructions indoors and outdoors under a canopy. VUP-2K can be applied to separately installed cables and to cable bundles, as well as on cable metal structures (trays, ladders, brackets and suspensions).

An application of the paint VUP-2K on the prepared surface is being performed by mechanized painting units of high pressure or hand brush, or roller.
An application of paint VUP-2K should be carried out at ambient temperature no lower than 5 ? C and relative humidity not above 80%.
Operating conditions:
Coatings based on paint VUP-2K are allowed to operate in temperatures from minus 60 ? C to plus 60 ? C and a relative humidity not above 85%. At a relative humidity above 85%, a protective coating of the other paintwork materials is required.
